Platform: PC with SiS 645 Chipset (MotherBoard: Gygabyte P4 Titan 667, GA8ST667

Problem common to the 9.1 pre-relase (installation program)
and 9.0 relase (installation program and installed system)
I'm giving informations on both the systems, since I saw the
problem common to both of them. Moreover for the 9.1pre I just
tested the installation program. Seeing It does not work I suspended
the installation.

Also on this PC the network card does not work. Can it be a conflict between
the two drivers?

Connecting a USB mouse does not work.
dmesg gives the followning

------------------------
hub.c: USB new device connect on bus2/1, assigned device number 2
eth0: Tx timeout - resetting
usb_control/bulk_msg: timeout
usb-ohci.c: unlink URB timeout

The same messages are obtained if another usb device is connected
to the bus (an HP photosmart camera).

The same problem is seen in a Mandrake 9.0 distribution (during the
install phase and after).
If the PC is started using a Knoppix (live-cd, with 2.4.19 kernel-same
kernel version as Mandrake 9.0-)
distribution, all the devices work properly (including the network
card), so it should not be a kernel-related problem

Connecting the same USB peripherals to another PC (with a sis630 chipset)
work fine (tested with 9.0 -installation and system- and 9.1 pre-relase -only
installation-)
