No, I don't expect cooker to always the latest mozilla build :-) I'd lose data
very often it it did. It's just that dead keys work in the latest builds, while
mozilla's bug #176713 is still open, so it can't be the same bug.

To be more precise, dead keys also work in the vanilla 1.3b from mozilla.org,
while it does not work in cooker's 1.3b. So it's not a bug in the mozilla tree,
but a bug in one of the patches applied to cooker's mozilla. Hence the guess
about GTK. On the other hand, I have other applications linked against GTK-2.0
that do not have this problem...

The topic is pretty self-explanatory : I can't use the dead keys anymore on
Mozilla to write some characters (for example, the string "" is actually
written "aeic"). They works fine under other X apps though. The bug is still
there in Mozilla 1.3b.
