------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-03-02 18:20 ------- It looks like there is a bug in MCC that dumps out of a draktool (printerdrake specifically) if it is not installed, as running the draktool from the command line installs the tool, but running from MCC does not. I did a fresh install of Saturday nights cooker and did not configure printers during installation. When I later selected printerdrake from the MCC hardware section, it correctly told me that there were no local printers connected to my machine and then asked if I wanted to enable network printing. I clicked yes and got dumped out to the Main hardware screen. I then reran printerdrake from the command line and it again detected no local printers. After I clicked yes to indicate enable network printing, a whole bunch of packages were installed and then I was able to procedd as normally. After exiting, printerdrake successfully ran from the MCC. This used to happen with scannerdrake too, but that is fine now. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: UNCONFIRMED creation_date: description: When calling printerdrake in the command line in a computer without local printers, when you say yes to the message: "Do you want to enable printing on printers in the local network?" You get the message: "Can't locate object method "set" via package "MDK::Common::Func::before_leaving" at /usr/lib/libDrakX/printer/printerdrake.pm line 3290."
