------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-03-02 19:30 ------- I have a similar problem. I use a laptop with 2 interfaces simultaneously: - Ethernet on eth0 - USB ADSL modem on ppp0 (Alcatel Speedtouch) I always had the same problem with 9.1_rc_1, 9.0 and 8.2 Linux Mandrake versions and I see it has never been fixed. I used your profile manager but it doesn't work. I have several use cases: a. Connection to the Internet by my Ethernet interface through a gateway on the LAN b. Use of a LAN by my Ethernet interface without Internet connection. c. Connection to the Internet by my USB ADSL modem interface AND use of Ethernet interface for LAN use. d. Same as case 'c' but with Internet connection sharing offered on the Ethernet interface. I think this problem will become more important in next years because of wide use of wireless and multimodal communication. I hope this will help you improving the ease of use of Linux Mandrake. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: UNCONFIRMED creation_date: description: I installed 9.1rc1 on my desktop computer and on my laptop.
