Product: Installation
Component: Installation
Summary: Samba3-common installed instead of samba-common-2.2.7a-
5mdk
Version: 1.799
Platform: PC
OS/Version: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: major
Priority: P2
AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Immediately after installing from a set of CDs I made from my local cooker copy, the
wrong
version of samba-common was installed. They were generated with the normal MakeCD
command from the following command (all one line):
/mnt/ws/mandrake/cooker/i586/misc/MakeCD -t /mnt/ws/cooker-iso -a
/mnt/ws/mandrake/cooker/i586
The installed versions of Samba files are:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] paul]# rpm -qa samba*
samba-server-2.2.7a-5mdk
samba3-common-3.0-0.alpha21.3mdk
samba-client-2.2.7a-5mdk
[EMAIL PROTECTED] paul]#
Since this was an up to date copy of the cooker, I worry that this will happen on RC2,
and
on the final release if we don't fix it.
