gc, this bug has nothing to do with rpmdrake or rpm or supermount for that 
matter. It us the problem how konqueror (or porbably KDE in general) handle 
access to directories. I guess, you have to write in big letters for everybody 
IF YOU HAVE PROBLEM WITH /mnt UNDER KONQUEROR SEND BUG REPORT FOR KDE. May be 
it finally makes KDE team realize that this problem cannot be ignored forever.

A quick workaround would be to not decend into supermounted mount point.

When selecting software sources manager after a clean install of rc1, rpmdrake 
repeatedly tries to access the cd-rom, despit ethe fact that the drive has no disk in 
it.  Pressing the eject button causes the drive to open.  Placing a cd in the tray and 
closing causes the seeking to terminate and the configure sources window displays.
