I feel that this RandR feature is a must have. A lot of people was complaining about it a long time. Now it is there and it is not included ? That would really be a pitty. I have read about the RandR at the release notes of Xfree 4.3.0, so it is maybe really late to think about it. If I would have read about it earlier, I had asked earlier. I would say it is very important to have it included. The best would be to have a keyboard shortcut for changing the physical resolution, very similar to the shortcut for changing the virtual resolution. But that may be a dream and may be it is not possible. The next question: How do the small wm handle RandR ? (IceWM, XFCE, BlackBox &Co ?) Are there any of them that can handle it ? -- Regards Steffen ____________________ counter.li.org : #296567. machine: 181800 vdr-box : 87 ____________________ Please dont CC me, since if I have replied I'll watch the tread.
