Hi!

I wonder what to do to add the possibility of propritary drivers.

I'm working on a package for propritary drivers
(AVM isdn stuff:
Fritz X USB
Fritz X USB 2
Fritz card usb
Fritz card usb 2 (Here need a an entry in hotplug to load the firmware)
Teledat USB 2a/b (relabeled OEM-hardware)
Teledat X120 (??) (relabeled OEM-hardware)
1&1 Net XXL (relabeled OEM-hardware)
Fritz Card PnP ( supported too by hisax )
Fritz Classic ( supported too by hisax )
Fritz PCI ( supported too by hisax )
Fritz PCI v2.0 ( supported too by hisax )
Fritz DSL )

In parts they are unknown for Mandrake in other parts there exist a free
driver (see above) for it and the propritary too. What do I have to do to
enable the presence of a driver in the mcc in a way like the nvidia-driver ?
The best would be if the user could select the wished driver.
Could someone point me to good documentation for ldetect or is it enough to
provide the Vendor and Product Id + some description ?

If it is not possible for next release it is ok, since the isdn4k-utils lacks
some needed stuff too and it seems isdn-users are a minority in the group of
mandrake-users, but I would like it for the future. My first priority would
be the USB stuff.

Any sugesstions ?

Steffen
