This should have been fixed in RC2, normally password was available only when
using pppoe connection, now it should work for others connections type.

description:
I upgraded my 9.0 to 9.1RC1.

My old ADSL connection hasn't been detected and I tried to configure it again.

I opened Mandrake Control Center, choose network and then the wizard. Chose
ADSL, inserted all the parameters, that were prompted. Mandrake tested the
connection, but it didn't work, which wasn't that surprising, cause Mandrake
never prompted for my password!

After I added the password to /etc/ppp/pap-secrets it works.

This may be related to bug 2131, but I'm not able to confirm this.

Btw., the old connections from 9.0 were in /etc/ppp/pap-secrets and could have
been used by Mandrake.
