No. Why so? After installation, the source(s) used for
installation are automatically configured.


rpmdrake is not designed for installing a simple package. for
doing so, the file explorer is better.

i'm not sure providing an easy way to install extra packages with
rpmdrake would be nice because external packages tend to break a
system more than official packages we provide.

The process which allow
a newbie to install the simple rpm file
is not easy.

The newbie have to add a new rpm source.
This source is mostly temporary
(a file you just downloaded).
Once you added the source,
you have to exit this tool
and launch rpmdrake.

I suggest you add to the rpmdrake choice list
{"Choix Mandrake",
"Tous les paquetages, classement alphab�tique",
"Tous les paquetages, ---"}
the entry "Directory".
This entry allowed the newbie
to view the rpm that are in a directory.
The newbie could select the rpm
he/she wanted to install.
