Sorry, I'm remembered wrong... if your cd is 'hda' or 'hdb', boot with ide0=nodma if your cd is 'hdc' or 'hdd', boot with ide1=nodma This actually turns off dma mode on primary/secondary controller... (just to verify that it's not causing problems...) I'll try the RC2 myself tonight on an ASUS A7N8X Deluxe board that has that nforce2 ide controller. (It has been working fine while running Cooker, but maybe there are some differencies in the BOOT kernel that geves the nforce2 problems) Thomas
