In previous installations, the touchpad installs as a generic USB 2 button
mouse and the software middle button worked automatically (i.e. when you press
both right and left buttons, the middle button lights). In this installation,
the middle button is not automaticaly emulated.
Oddly, I can turn on emulation in the following way:
1) Choose USB 2 button mouse (default): right and left work, but middle
is not emulated.
2) Choose bus mouse: mouse does not work, and I have to navigate by keystroke.
3) Choose USB 2 button mouse again!: right and left work, and middle is
emulated.
I have played with this a couple of times and emulation simply isn't turned on
until I get out of USB into something that doesn't work at all, and then
get back into USB generic 2 button mouse.
