------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-03-04 23:20 ------- Both are applications I do not have source for. Kohan is the game sold made by www.timegate.com and ported by Loki (www.loki.com). The other ap is folding at home from http://folding.stanford.edu/download.html Other people are reporting similar problems with other apps; check bug #2546 To reproduce you can download the folding at home client and run it with ltrace. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: UNCONFIRMED creation_date: description: After upgrading to this glibc, several applications started to segfault, some sporadically, but some consistently. The two that are segfaulting constantly are foldingathome, and kohan. Both are staically linked apps. After doing a ltrace, both show they are segfaulting at dict.c:117. I haven't found much reference to that in my searches. Here is the output from the folding at home ltrace: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/data/download/foldingathome]$ ./foldingathome ... <snip> ... Benchmarking ... Loaded queue successfully. ltrace: dict.c:117: dict_apply_to_all: Assertion `d' failed. Aborted (core dumped) [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/data/download/foldingathome]$
