Automatic Ip will resolve the hostname from the dhcp server. If you leave the 'Automatic IP' checkbox ON (as is by default), the checkbox 'Get host name from DHCP' remains grayed out and not modifiable. As soon as you uncheck 'Automatic IP' you can modify the other. Corrado
