During installation, if you select lilo-text (both during the normal steps and later
if you go in
and confirm during the summary screen) your selection if ignored, and you get a
framebuffer
or vesa (don't know which, but it is graphical) lilo selector.
If you later go into mandrake control center and select lilo-text, you get a text boot
up, but,
you get a line of unformated ascii code where you would normally press tab to get a
list of
available boot kernals. (looks like it tries to send the text menu but does not know
how to
format/use it)
