description:
After install of 9.1 RC2 on my Asus L8400 laptop it was not possible to bring up
the KDE loginmanager and login. It kept trying and getting destroyed. After
changing to GDM and logging into Gnome I tried to run KDE apps with the same
negative result. As an example I tried to launch sim from a console in Gnome,
whith this result:
-bash-2.05b$ sim
