Yep, I played with the kdenetwork rpm and I had to first fix the openslp rpm in contribs so that it would create the slpd.log in the correct place so the slpd server would start properly then I built kdenetwork --with-slp option which will allow you to use the Networking -> Remote Access -> Remote Desktop Connection. I dont know if there is room for the openslp rpms in 9.1 or if Laurent even wants to mess with it at this point in time.
