------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED]  2003-03-06 02:25 -------
It is fixed in xcin-2.5.2.3-18mdk

The reason was that now "zh_TW" is used as locale name; and xcin doesn't
tolerate a change in locale name.
Configuration for "zh_TW" has been added to xcin config in /etc/chinese/xcin
(just copying the block for "zh_TW.Big" changing "zh_TW.Big" to "zh_TW")
and in DrakX changed the definition for XMODIFIERS (that goes into
/etc/sysconfig/i18n or $HOME/.i18n file) so that it is
XMODIFIERS="@im=xcin-zh_TW"

I've been unable to made xcin work for zh_HK, nor in UTF-8 mode; so for those
cases Chinput will be used instead.
