1. Plugging in: Not utomatically detected
2. Mandrake Control Center>Hardware>Harddrake. Is listed as sda. Click run config tool
3. On desktop there are three icons appearing: Dynamic Processing, dynamic adding and
dynamic probing. They only say could not mount device.
4. Could mount the disk through the KDE menu (right click on desktop) and >create
new>Hard disk and selecting sda.
Can access the external harddisk through this procedure.
The extra three icons (see 3) can only be rmeoved through root priveliges.
Ultimately it is solvable, but for a newbie this is a real annoying bug.
