Hi Till, 
  It was when I was using "Use the scanners on hosts" option. The IP did not exist (I 
have a 
dhcp setup, and the machine I wanted "moved"). After that point, Scannerdrake would 
lockup on startup (when it is looking for new scanners). 
 
  Oddly enough, I just tried the same thing on another machine and I can't replicate 
the 
problem. I entered an invalid address and nothing happens on this machine. 
 
  I'll try to figure out some more details as soon as I can get to the other machine 
again.

If you accidentally type in an incorrect IP address in Scannerdrake's 
scanner sharing utility, then you can no longer get into scannerdrake. It 
just hangs waiting for a response from a non-existant IP address when it 
starts up with no way to resolve the problem or even know anything is 
wrong.
