------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-03-06 22:18 ------- this one is still there in RC2 - /etc/resolve.conf doesn't have the right DNS addresses. So if you put them in, networking is fine. If you install DHCPCD - resolve.conf gets set right (dhcpcd eth0) and you are all set. By default though, dhcpcd isn't installed, and networking is a no-go on my DHCP network. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: UNCONFIRMED creation_date: description: After the installation of 9.1 the net seems to be fine for a cable modem conection; you could ping to your internet servers, but mozilla can't resolv dns. The file /etc/resolv.conf doesn't have the nameservers ip. If I edit the file puting the nameservers ip and restart the net it runs fine.
