------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-03-06 23:09 ------- Here's portion of the /var/log/XFree86.9.log (produced by XFdrake) which has detailed info: -------------------------------------------------------------------------- compiled for 4.3.0, module version = 1.2.0 ABI class: XFree86 Video Driver, version 0.6 (II) NV(0): I2C bus "DDC" initialized. So your reasons do not apply. Obviously XFdrake is not utilizing the info that X already has and defaulting to a lousy 70Hz. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: UNCONFIRMED creation_date: description: My video card can do [EMAIL PROTECTED]@85Hz. However, XFdrake always sets the vertical refresh rate range to 50-70. The default settings of HorizSync 31.5-57 VertRefresh 50-70 are very inadequate and should be something more realistic like this: HorizSync 30-70 VertRefresh 50-90 Currently, XFdrake has no option for setting the refresh rate.
