I am not sure that this bug belongs to rpmdrake....
I want to open a rpm package with rpmdrake.
I give the root password => ok
A new window appears:

content = blank
2 buttons OK and Cancel
# ps -ef | grep gmess
root 8279 8276 0 Mar06 ? 00:00:00 gmessage -default OK -buttons
OK:0,Annuler:2 Pour satisfaire les d�pendances, les paquetages suivants vont
�tre install�s (2 Mo):?audacity-1.1.1-6mdk.i586??Est-ce correct ?
The buttons works properly. OK install the package.
I just found the reason :-)
The message contain characters iso_latin15 and Gmessage is expecting UTF8...
Another bug is due to the parenthesis : it's a good advice to quote the message
like this :
gmessage -default OK -buttons OK:0,Annuler:2 'Pour satisfaire les dependances,
les paquetages suivants vont etre installes (2 Mo) etc...'
