Decided to test the acpi as requested at:

1) The computer doesn't enter sleepmode, even after ours of inactivity.
2) When pressing halt or reboot from kde, the normal 'ending-kde' soundsequence is
heard and the screen instantly turns black and the computer hangs (looks as if it went
to sleep), the command halt and shutdown -r in a prompt turns the computer of
correctly
however.
