Yup. In order to make my audigy2 work I had to compile the cvs sources for the
emu10k1 module from sourceforge. The emu10k1 package released on sourceforge
doesn't work either, so you have to get sources from their project cvs and
compile them.
What I really find annoying is that my audigy2 gets detected and the "audigy"
module is loaded with no error. I would preffer it not to detect anything if
this module is not working with audigy2. It took me a lot of fiddling untill I
found out that with the cvs sources of emu10k1 it works.

The Audigy 2 only works with the headphone on the Audigy 2 Platinum's breakout
box. Redhat's latest beta is using the latest driver from Sourceforge that
work with the Audigy 2. Please incorporate these newer drivers in Mandrake, as
I really prefer Mandrake for its ease of use, and user friendliness. I rave
over it to everyone.

Also, Midnight Commander is no longer installed by default.
