alas, this i can't do since it would change too much things in the

Mandrake 9.0 update install fails with encrypted filesystems when he checks
installed packages.
You need to suppress encrypted filesystems like
/dev/hda8 /home2 ext3 encryption=AES128,encrypted 0 0
from /etc/fstab before update
