------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-03-08 07:03 -------
Ok, what I had to do to get this to work was...

Click on the prefs button in LinNeighborhood
Click on the "Post Mount" tab.

Entered
kfmclient exec file:$MOUNTPOINT

into the bottom text box.
Clicked Save
Clicked Close.

My earlier, unsuccessfull attempts were because I was simply selecting the KDE
file manager from the dropdown box above and apparently this did nothing to the
configuration. I think that this is not intuitive.

description:
File Browser Link is Linked to MC Changing File Browser preferences doesn't work.
Error Message comes up in a terminal windows:

"Terminal: can't execvp mc: No such file or directory"

It seems that MC isn't installed by default.
I tried going into the preferences and selecting the kde file manager, but the
changes wouldn't change the outcome even after re-starting LinNeighborhood.

I'd think that using KDE's File manager should be the default and it would be
nice to get this thing working. Maybe the default commandline specified in
LinNeighborhood to invoke Kde's file manager is left over from an older version
of KDE.

Questions: I can be reached at 414-788-8284 in the US at any time.
Good Luck on the 9.1 release!
