Did you run drakboot (Mandrake Control Center->Boot) at all? It seems to default to not use X, so if you click "OK", you will run in console mode on next boot. The first bar runs quickly - then nothing else happens Unable to access the NTFS partition. After exiting Linux and rebooting - I am left at a text login prompt. After loging in a root I am unable to start kde (startkde) and it looks like X server has taken a hit from the font install problem. Need to re-install 9.1...
