------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-03-08 17:39 ------- Mdk 9.1 rc2 : live_update asks for Mandrake/mdkinst/usr/bin/perl-install/live_install instead of Mandrake/mdkinst/usr/bin/perl-install/live_install2 ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: NEW creation_date: description: Hi, I tried to run live_update from the first Mandrake 9.0 CD, using the command /mnt/cdrom/live_update. The first error was that it couldn't find a proper shell interpreter to run it. I am trying to upgrade from Mandrake 8.2. So I then ran it using `perl /mnt/cdrom/live_update` this then brought up a window and asked whether I wanted to continue. I accepted it then crashed saying it couldn't write to a file on the CD. I can recreate the bug easiliy, if you need more information then please let me know. Regards, Phil.
