It seems as if 9.1 will use utf-8 as the default encoding (at least for
locales-he, iso-8859-8 is missing), but it's yet to work flawlessly in the
console (man pages look weird, e.g., it seems that the system having
trouble getting out of utf-8 mode for shutdowns, etc.)

Which brings the question, is there a planned package for ncursesw (ncurses
compiled with wchars support)? Are there any issues preventing one from
being made (I understand this is too late for 9.1, but what about future
relases?).
