Rhonda, I cannot help about the rolled cookie dough, but my Mom and me have frozen cookie dough for years and no problems at all, but like I said I don't make cookie cutter cookies.
I have frozen dough in bulk, thaw then scoop like usual. On the other hand, I have frozen on sheets as individual cookies, then after frozen taken off sheets, frozen in zip lock bags and then when wanting to bake, take out of freezer place on sheets and bake from frozen state. You will have to bake a bit longer. Hope this helps some Dee ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rhonda Scott" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, December 04, 2009 7:46 AM Subject: [CnD] Freezing Cookie Dough I know I can freeze my chocolate chip cookie dough, but does anyone know which kinds of cookie dough I cannot freeze? For instance, if I mixed up a batch of cutout sugar cookie dough and froze it, would that make the dough harder to roll out when I thaw it?
