WW Chicken and Bacon Kebabs

Ingredients 

 

500 g chicken breast, uncooked, skinless, each breast cut into 4 chunks 

 

1/2 teaspoon dried sage 

 

1 medium onion(s), peeled, quartered and separated into leaves 

 

1 pinch salt 

 

4 medium rasher streaky bacon, lean, de-rinded 

 

1 serving pepper, freshly ground, black 

 

Instructions 

 

Sprinkle the chicken with tiny pinches of sage and season to taste.

 

Stretch the rashers with the back of a table knife by holding the rasher down 
and running the back of the knife down the length of the rasher to make it

longer. Then cut each rasher in half.

 

Wrap each chicken chunk with bacon and then thread them on to a skewer, 
alternating with the onion "leaves".

 

Preheat the grill and when hot, place each kebab on the grill rack. Turn the 
heat down to medium.

 

Grill on medium heat for 5 minutes on each side or until the meat feels quite 
firm when pressed.
