PISTACHIO BREAD

Makes 2 (9-by-5-inch) loaves.

1 package (18 1/2 ounces) yellow cake mix

1 package (3 ounces) instant pistachio pudding mix

4 eggs

1/4 cup vegetable oil

2 tablespoons water

1 cup sour cream

1/2 cup maraschino cherries, drained

1/2 teaspoon green food coloring

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

2 tablespoons white sugar

To prepare oven, bread pans: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 2 
(9-by-5-inch) loaf pans. Set aside.

To mix batter: In bowl, combine cake mix and pudding. Make well in center. Mix 
in eggs, oil, water, sour cream, cherries and food coloring. Stir to combine 
well.

To make sugar mixture: In small bowl, mix cinnamon and sugar.

To bake bread: Pour batter into prepared pans. Sprinkle tops of loaves with 
sugar mixture. Bake for 45 minutes or until bread tests done. Cool on rack.
