The best I have found on the market is Stphen's Gourmet Candycane Cocoa. That is Stephen with a ph. He uses real crushed peppermint candy canes. One friend found it at Rite-Aids (sorry, I don't know how that is properly spelled), and she found it in individual packets. Amazon has it in cans, I believe. It is a rich chocolate with just the right amount of mint. Haven!
Now, if you cannot find it, here's how to make your own. Place the contents of your favorite hot cocoa mix in a cup; place a York Peppermint Patty on top of the cocoa. Add about a quarter cup hot water, stir rather vigorously. Add another quarter cup hot water; stir more gently (so it doesn't slop over the sides). Add remaining water and stir until all is combined and dissolved. Top it with one or two tablespoons marshmallow creme. The creme makes the cocoa taste very dark and rich. It's splendid!
