I have the Pen Friend and it is great.  When you purchase it on the box they
have the labels on it and if you take the Pen Friend and point it at the
labels it will read you the directions  on how to use it.

You could try going on the RNIB web site. Sorry, I don't know the exact 
link. However, I have a pen friend and I love it. I find it easy to use and 
it comes in handy making looking for cans and other products much faster. 
Also, it is not outrageously expensive.
