No-Fuss Strawberry Bars
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 pkg. (18 1/4 oz.) white cake mix
1 cup finely crushed cornflakes
1 cup strawberry jam or preserves
In a large bowl, cream the butter and the sugar until smooth.  Add the egg.  Mix
well.  Gradually add the dry cake mix and the cornflakes.  Set aside 1 1/2 cups 
for
the topping.  Press the remaining dough into a greased 13 x 9 inch baking pan.  
Carefully
spread the jam over the crust.  Sprinkle with reserved dough.  Gently press 
down.
Bake at 350 F for 30 minutes or until golden brown.  Cool completely on a wire 
rack.
Cut into bars.  Enjoy.
