Easy and Elegant Ham 2 20 oz cans sliced pineapple, divided 6-lb fully cooked boneless ham, halved 6-oz jar maraschino cherries, well drained 12-oz jar orange marmalade
Drain pineapple, reserving juice. Set juice aside. Place half the pineapple in an ungreased slow cooker. Top with the ham halves. Spoon cherries, remaining pineapple slices and reserved juice over ham. Than spoon marmalade over ham. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours. NOW, That is the original recipe. I have never used the cherries, although they would make a pretty presentation. I have used only 1 can of pineapple slices or chunks and maybe only a TBLS of juice or so. The hams usually are pumped full of water. And the ham chubs work very well -- even the turkey ham chubs! I've done this recipe alot of ways and it always turns out well.
