Do you think you could just use Raisin Brand cereal in this recipe?

        Title: Raisin Bran Bread
   Categories: Breads
        Yield: 6 servings

        1    Egg, well beaten                  1/2 c  Raisins
        1 c  Bran                              1/4 c  Molasses
        2 c  White flour                       1/4 ts Baking soda
      1/2 c  Sugar                               1 ts Salt
        1 c  Sour milk                           3 ts Baking powder
        2 tb Melted shortening

    Combine molasses, shortening, sugar, bran, raisins, egg, and milk. Sift
    flour, measure, and sift with baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
Combine
    with the first mixture.  Beat well. Pour into well-oiled loaf pan. Bake
in
    moderate oven (375ΓΈ F) 1 hour. 1 loaf. Annebel Beasley, Johnson City,
TN.
