George Forman Grill-Independence Day Burgers

A lowfat variation of one of our all-time favorites!

1 lb. extra lean ground round
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
1 t. black pepper
1 t. seasoned salt
1 purple onion
4 whole grain hamburger buns
nonfat cooking spray

In a medium bowl, mix the beef, Worcestershire sauce, pepper and salt and 
shape into 4 hamburger patties. Slice the onion into I/2-inch thick slices, 
being careful not to separate the rings. Lightly coat the grill with cook­ 
ing spray and preheat for 5 minutes.

Place the hamburgers in the grill and cook for 4 minutes. Top each with one 
full slice of onion and grill for 3-4 minutes, or according to your prefer­ 
ence. Serve the hamburgers on the buns and pass the condiments of your 
choice. Serves 4.
