Mom's Hamburger Casserole 

 

1 lb. ground hamburger

 

1 med. onion, chopped

 

salt and pepper to suit taste

 

1 can condensed Campbell's Tomato Soup 

 

1 can cut green beans, drained (Del Monte is best)

 

Mashed potatoes

 

Fried onion rings (can use frozen) 

 

Place hamburger and onion in a large skillet; cook until hamburger is browned 
and onion cooked.  Add salt and pepper to suit your taste.  Add soup and green

beans, mix well. 

 

Place mixture in a casserole dish and cover with mashed potatoes.  Top with 
onion rings and bake at 350 F. for about 20 minutes, until heated through and

onion rings are baked.  Serves 4 - 6. 

 

Note:  If you're planning on having this dish, serve something with mashed 
potatoes the day before - just make more than you need so you can use them in

this casserole!
