Here's how I make mine.
I buy a bag of the coleslaw mix, the finer cut, cut up and apple and throw it 
in, add some grated onion, and then for the dressing I mix several tablespoons 
of miracle whip, a little cream, I use my coffee creamer, a splash of red wine 
vinegar, and some salt and pepper. Then I stir this into the coleslaw. If it's 
too dry, just ad a bit more Miracle Whip, or you can use Mayonaise if you 
prefer.
