Hi Marilyn and list,
I have a question about this recipe. It looks really good and I'd like to try it but I'm a bit confused about something. The ingredients list calls for 2 packages of microwavable rice. The instructions say put all ingredients in an oven proof caserole dish and then to serve over rice. Does that mean we do not put the two packages of microwavable rice in the oven proof caserole dish, but instead cook them at the very end in the microwave and serve with the rest of it? I'm guessing that all we put in the caserole dish is the stew meat and the cans of soup and everything but the rice, but I'm just not sure. Any help would be appreciated.

EASIEST EVER BEEF-TIPS AND RICE
2 lbs beef stew meat
2 cans french onion soup
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
2 packages quick rice (microwavable)
Preheat oven to 275 degrees.
In an ovenproof casserole dish, add all ingredients and stir. Salt and pepper well.
Bake uncovered for 4 hours.
Pour over rice or noodles and serve.  Enjoy.
