I just usually use frozen fruit. For instance, I freeze strawberries,
bananas, and even different kinds of melon. I even put yogurt in the
freezer for at least a couple of hours and put that in the blender
right along with the fruit. I never put anything lukewarm in the
smoothie because I prefer mine really cold and thick. If it's too
thin, just put in the freezer or refrigerator, until it gets thick.
You could even add a handful of raw oatmeal, granola, cocunut, a few
chocolate chips...lots of stuff to make it yummy and healthy.
