For a small box, add the gelatin to one cup boiling water...then add one cup cold water once it is dissolved. For a large box, two cups of water boiling and then two on the back end of cold water.... Of course, if making jello shots, use one part water and one part vodka, rum, or tequila instead of the cold water after it is dissolved.
