Dustin,

I have a presto Dual Daddy Deep Fryer, and it works great!
It's a cast-iron fryer, with a metal divider that you can place in the middle of the inside of the unit, to fry two things, at the same time. The oil heats up quickly, and it comes with a ladle-type spoon with holes at the bottom, to help drain your food, when you're taking it out!

I'm not afraid of it, but I'm very careful. Once I'm through using the unit, I let it cool on the table or countertop for some time, before draining the oil into another container. I use a sieve to drain the crumbs from the oil, before pouring into another container for future use.

My particular deep fryer does not close, when frying, but there are others that do, and this may be a consideration factor for you.

Claudia

Hi all, what is the most accessible deep fryer to use if you are totally blind.
