1 and 1-half pounds stewing beef or any beef cut into squares 1 onion chopped 1 can mushroom soup 1 can mushrooms 1 half-cup water 1 third-cup dill pickle juice, and some chopped pieces of the pickle if desired 3 quarter-cups sour cream 3 tablespoons flour Method 1. Place first 5 ingredients in crockpot, and stir. 2. Cook on high four to five hours, low six to eight hours. 3. Thirty minutes before serving, mix sour cream and flour and add to slow cooker. 4. Also add pickle juice and chopped pickle. 5. Stir, and cook for remaining thirty minutes. 6.
