This is the recipe my sister uses. I think it is very similar to the one I just 
posted.

Whipped Shortbread 

1        pound Soft Butter
1/2   cup            Cornstarch
1       cup            Sifted icing sugar
3       cups            Flour
1 1/4              teaspoon Vanilla or almond flavouring

Cream butter.  Add icing sugar and cornstarch a
little at a time. Add flour gradually and beat until
it resembles whipped cream. Drop by teaspoon onto an ungreased cookie sheet. 
Bake at 325 for 12 to 20
minutes, or until light brown on the bottom.
