SHORTBREAD WEDDING COOKIES 

 

1 c. (2 sticks) butter

1/2 c. confectioner's sugar

1/2 tsp. vanilla

1 3/4 c. sifted flour

1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Confectioner's sugar

 

Cream butter. Add sugar and beat until light and fluffy. Blend in vanilla and 
flour, add nuts. Shape into balls. Chill 1 hour. Bake 20 minutes. Roll warm

balls in confectioner's sugar. Oven 350 degrees. Yields: 4 to 5 dozen.  Enjoy.
