Hi everyone: I am probably the last person on earth to get a sandwich maker. I never thought much of them before I got one from a friend for Christmas. After taking a good look at it I wondered if it would be possible to make things other than sandwiches with it. So, went to my trusty friend, Google, to see what I could find, all kinds of recipes there. I think I'm going to really like this little gadget. Here's a recipe using Jiffy corn bread mix.
SANDWICH MAKER CORN BREAD INGREDIENTS: 1 8.5 ounce boxJiffy Cornbread Mix 1 egg 1/3 cup milk shredded cheddar cheese PREPARATION: Mix up the box of Jiffy cornbread according to directions on box. Lightly butter the sandwich maker wells. Spread a layer of mix in the sandwich machine and add some shredded cheddar. Then add another layer of batter. Close the lid and baked about 5-8 minutes.
