It might have been the ID Mate Omni? It is the model that came out before the Summit. They work great.

I got mine on blind mice mart because it was on sale for $500. It helps me a lot cause it reads boxes, cans, bottles, etc. It doesn't read everything, but it does read i believe over 2 million items and it's constantly being updated. Hope this helps.
